It is made up of shapes derived from found objects, wire, fabric, cardboard and canvas.

I created this large mask-like sculpture as a 3D response to the four paintings of lion faces that also featured in my Tales of Love and Reason exhibition.

It all started with a wooden spoon for his nose and a large body brush. On reflection, it seems this piece helped the lion paintings to be expressed into 3D form.

In the show it was placed on a wall exclusively facing the feminine figure in the painting Window which repeated some of the motifs and themes in the four Lion Constellations.
