Another Constellation piece, this time I had done a range of dancing figures. They no they are not falling, they are frolicking! Could be seen as the dance between the sexes, trying to get each others attention perhaps?

I did several of these where some figures seemed relaxed and others whose body language and position in space appeared awkward  in contrast. Either way these artworks make me feel that they are learning how to master their own balance and connection to the space around them. Their magical ability to fly, swim, float or dance relates to developing inner skills as much as movement techniques. Dancing after all stems from an individual’s own rhythm and then is enriched by others and the music around them.

Its funny but as I write this description I realize that maybe they were not always among the stars and that they are new and young to this mystical world.
