This little study of a bird was part of a series of small works made in preparation for the large painting of the same name, which featured in my solo exhibition: Once Upon A Time

Study II is of an extra ordinary bird representing the phrase: ‘once upon a time’. It holds an hour glass in it’s beak and stands surrounded by a flourishing energetic space.
