At first sight, it is a woman with eyes shut, taking a strong stance with her hands on her waist.

Take a closer look, there is a second solid figure standing behind lifting her up off the ground so she can stretch out her arms freely and take in the feeling of freedom. What a great metaphor for a supportive relationship within yourself and with others.

This is a large work on high quality water colour paper. I have used a variety of paper collage combined with watercolour and acrylic paint. It has a lot of energy and has become one of my favourites, for the lightness in spirit and strong message it offers.

I have it currently in a simple white frame with a basic matte board but for best presentation I highly recommend custom framing. This artwork makes a striking feature art piece. Its actual dimensions are equivalent to an A2 : 42 x 59.4 cm. Framed it can be placed in an A1 frame with matte board border.
